Days 16–20: Solidify Routine

Days 16–20

Solidify Routine

You are past the halfway point. Focus on building a consistent daily routine and extending session length gradually.

Day16

Full Outer Surface Routine

3–4 min

Brush all outer tooth surfaces on both sides. Use short, gentle strokes at about 45 degrees toward the gumline. End with praise and a reward.

Day17

Focus on the Back Teeth

3–4 min

Pay extra attention to the back teeth (premolars and molars), which are harder to reach. Approach gently and reward patience.

Day18

Consistent Timing

3–4 min

Brush at the same time each day to help your pet anticipate the routine. Morning or evening — whichever works best for both of you.

Day19

Step Back When Needed

3–4 min

If your pet seems more resistant today, shorten the session and return to an earlier step. Progress is not always linear.

Never push through strong resistance. A shorter positive session is always better than a forced one.

Day20

Reinforce the Routine

3–4 min

Repeat your full outer surface routine. Notice how much more comfortable your pet is compared to Day 1.
